ABOUT NIDHI !!
Hi, all lovely souls out there!!

Thank you for connecting with me here
Nidhi Jain is a soul who is always up for learning and sharing. A logical and curious mind which is hungry for knowledge. Sensitive and compassionate by heart. Knowledge and learning make me a better person, and at the same time, sensitivity & compassion contribute to my empathetic nature. I am a structured person who is able to appreciate organization in selected areas which further advocates my appraisal of boundaries yet I also enjoy breaking rules. I value traditional things and stuff though I have a modern approach towards life. I belong to the Delhi state of India.

By passion, I am into child development, Parenting, psychology, spirituality, language, communication, sustainability, and social work.

By qualification, I am a speech pathologist and a psychologist too. Also done a diploma in naturopathy.

Work and experience: I started my journey as a speech pathologist and audiologist in 2009 after my graduation in that. Later I find myself more inclined towards speech pathology only. My fascination with the development of understanding in children and the recognition of the support that parents of special needs often required leads me to study Psychology. I did my post-graduation in clinical psychology. With the time, I spent with children and their parents, studying and understanding academics I felt the need for a holistic approach that works for children and parents collectively because parents’ behavior impacts children in the same ways as children affect their parents. And also approaching a child from one area is not sufficient. So I came up with an approach” Integral development”. As time passes by my interest got polished a bit finer and I found myself passionate about parenting which I included in this approach only.

My insights and understanding of upbringing children lead me to approach more children in setups like orphanages, and shelter homes. I started doing volunteer work for them in 2018. I conducted weekend classes and organized different celebrations with them. After two years of this solo journey, a group of like-minded people formed and proceed for NGO registration.

Now I have my own NGO “Matritva Foundation” registered in January 2021 only. Inspired by my own interest and experience, the goals of this NGO are 1. Integral development 2. Sustainability 3. Community Services.

In February 2021 I have published my first short kindle reading book for which I am thankful to my friend.

The title of the book is “Parenting advice from an adult child”. Here is the link in case you like to go through it.
